Strava showing more elvation in 'my activity' view.

So today I went out with the goal to top 3,000ft. When I got home 'my activity' page said I'd done 3,160ft, but on the summary page it said I'd only done 2994?

Anyone know why that might be?

Because it is Strava. It gets things wrong a lot of the time.

I'd check with Ribble, they might know!

My ride for yesterday initially said over 4000 feet of climbing - but then it changed later to a more realistic level ? Dunno if they had a blip or something ? I took a screenshot so it definitely did happen.

Check this out. Explains that it may auto correct elevation data, as sometimes it is not accurate.
