Advice on stem length please

Hi all
I am currently building a nice little lightweight rigid bike. It's my first ever 'proper' xc bike so don't really know all that much. I'm a little under 6' 3" and have a 20" frame for the build so was wondering what length stem people would suggest I went for? I have Exotic carbon rigid forks and some Bontrager xxx carbon lite flat bars if that helps.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks
James

Pick up say 3 stems in 80, 100, 120 lengths get cheap and hefty ones and try them to see which feels best. When you are sure what size you want buy something nice and blingy and stick the cheap stems on ebay.

I'd do something similar but just get the 100 and then make a call on which way to go from there.
