I ride a CAAD 8 for fitness, but restore old bikes for fun.
This Carlton is a mix of old and new. '79 Carlton Professional 531 frame and forks with modern Shimano and Sturmey Archer running gear. It is a single-speed and rides beautifully.
Was going to sell it to fund next project, but thinking of keeping it now.

It is simply Candy Blue according to the company who powdercoated it. LSN in Castleford, and only £40 for frame and forks. I have another frame with them at the moment. Here's a close up of the finish.

Thanks, looks like they did a top job. Hadn't really considered power coat(got a spray booth at work I could use), but for that price and finish its seems like a no brainer!0
