Wow, halfords finest! Good idea using that old kiddie stairgate as a bike rack though! Haha!0

Little un will be mobile soon so I'll have to find another stand.0

are you planning on camping when out on your ride? id say this is the cycling equivalent to a VW beetle with a roof rack!0
-
I see you left the front reflector on. Bet that's a life-saver. You're missing one of these though:

That saddle bag is so big I reckon you'd have trouble riding two abreast.0 -

You've obviously not seen the size of my ar5e pal.0 -
As you say does what it says on the tin. Get some ronseal Lycra. Looks comfortable.0

As you say it does the job, seriously though what do you take on rides so that you need such a large saddle bag along with a bar bag?
I've always been over cautious when on solo rides but still only manage a tiny saddle bag and jersey pockets.0 -
Not about the bike, its the engine.
Hope you enjoy many days whizzing past snobs on their boutique bikes.0 -

Saddle bag is filled with multi tool, puncture kit & inner tube. They only just fit in so perhaps the pic is deceiving!
Bar bag contains wallet & mobile phone. That way I can ride with my special pocketless aero skin suit:

very nice bike busta - I saw one of these in halfords yesterday - they look really really good in the flesh.
Bike snobs are utter tools - years ago I got a carrera and the opinion at the the time was that they were heavy but good value for money- people on here, when it was C+, were saying theyd buy one as a winter bike - funny how many people jump on the halfords can do no right bandwagon probably without ever seeing let alone riding one.
It wont be the lightest bike you'll own but it'll certainly some good days out - enjoy it - and ignore the ballbags. The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.0 -

I figure it would be a slight waste to spend another £300 just to save 2kg. I think I just shat that amount out on my morning turd!0 -

That doesn't absolve you from being a predictable, unamusing cretin.0 -
