Anybody else clock watching and waiting to get on their bike and go home? Can't wait for that and the weekend's big ride on Sunday - Winnets Pass here I come! :D

    Winnets?.....Awesome, you from Castleton? I ride to Castleton from Wakefield to do the pass. Its halfway of a 100 miler I often do in the summer. Amazing scenery round there and the nearest thing you can get to cycling nirvana in the UK. Oh and the boozers are super.

    Careful of cars/people/cyclists on the decent. I nearly totalled it down winnats pass a couple years ago. Gets busy up there.
    A real testing climb that seems to be a lot longer than you'd remembered Everytime you do it. That last upwards spike just after the last left at the top really tests the leg strength! Gets to around 20-something percent gradient up top! I've nearly puked at the end of it. Have fun and good luck.
