Ribble R872.
Just arrived today. Not set it up properly yet - not ridden it yet, so I still need to adjust the saddle and the head height.
I'm happy to hear thoughts on set up - seat too high, handle bars need dropped more/rotated - let me know.
Groupset - Full 105
Wheels - Mavic Cosmic Elite
Carbon SE seatpost

Looks ready to go to me bro.the deeper the section the deeper the pleasure.0

Chain should be in small sprocket to comply to OCP rules.
Saddle height looks good. Bars look fine and the bars are actually below the saddle level!
Looks great
Road - Dolan Preffisio
MTB - On-One Inbred
I have no idea what's going on here.0 -

Good point - the rear derailleur certainly looks wrong...0 -
No bottles. Like it. Water's for wimps.0

Your chain is abit short, but no one but Andy S rides in that gear anyway.
Happy riding!0 -
Cable routing looks a bit funny; usually they go under the stem instead of over.0

Nice to see another 872, agree that the cables look a little long and hence loop a bit much.
Looks really good though0 -
Rough as f***
Seriously, I like that! 8)0 -

nice frame I wouldn't mind one as an upgrade to my Ribble sportive but isnt that rear mech a little stretched?
another link in the chain perhaps?Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.
Rule #9 // If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Period.
Rule #12 // The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.
Rule #42 // A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run.0 -
Alright then - just for all the purists out there - here are some more photos with the chain on the big ring, and in the middle of the cassette, cranks parallel, valves straight down...etc etc. I sure I have missed something - but I'm also sure I will be told.
First ride taken this morning - really nice and responsive...
Enjoy...

Forgot to say - Compact Chainset 50/34 with 12-27 cassette.
Total weight with bottle cages and pedals (basically what you see in the photo) is 7.9kg0 -
A great looking bike! So great, that I've had my eye on getting one for a while, with a very similar spec.
You don't see many of them around, but they always get great reviews....and yours sounds positive too!
One question, how long from placing your order to getting delivery?
:-)0 -

I didn't chase them up, not sure if I had if it would have come any quicker!
I'm really pleased with it. It is real stiff and rides sweet!!0 -
Great looking bike. Just one question, the stand that you are using. Are these designed to just stand bikes up or do they have any use in terms of cleaning / maintenance?

Thanks, been looking at the R872 for a while now, i live a couple of miles from Ribble so i've seen it in the flesh when i've been to the unit to pick some bike related items up.
Whats your height and inside leg? I think i'd be in a 50cm as i'm 5ft 8.5in and 81cm inside leg.Cheers, Stu0 -
I'm 5'10" with 81cm leg. I was border line between 50 and 52.5. I decided to go for the 50 - and the size feels just right.0
