Cracked Rear derailleur

Hi been adjusting and lubing rear derailleur tonight and noticed what appears to be two cracks on mech. Shimano 2300 mech are these cracks bike is only 4 months old and has covered about 1000 miles.

your quite safe....its just the fold from the manufacturing....its not a solid lump its folded sheet alloy !
