Do you need washers? I bought some used calipers but not sure how many, or if any washers I use. Is it just of case of using them to line up the disc inside the caliper? And also do I need washers for bolting the discs to the hubs?

Comments

  • No washers on the disc but use one under the head of the bolt on the bracket, unless they are Avids of course
  • They are avoids though. Avid juicy 7s.
  • Yeah you should have ;-)

Have a look on their website and how CPS washers works
  • I'll have a Google! Cheers!

The alignement cones on V-brake pads are all but identical to the CPS washers and can be had very cheaplly......

Excellent advice guys. Thanks for all the help, and the photo :D . Mine came with the CPS washers and now I know how they are meant to be fitted. Much appreciated.
