Anyone used Lizard Skins DPS 3.2mm tape?

Looking to eliminate road buzz through the bars and have seen a thicker version of Lizard Skins is available, is it any better/worth it than the normal tape? Cant find much info online?

I use the 2.5mm stuff and I cant imagine how a thicker bar tape would be better than the 2.5mm. The 2.5 mutes road buzz so effectively I dont know why anyone would need anything thicker. I am however interested to see if the 3.2mm stuff could be used instead of grips on an MTB. To save weight, etc. Plus you could put some closer to the stem and have a more efficient climbing position.

Arundel do a similar tape which is apparently quite good and a good bit cheaper. I'm going to give it a go when I do the Spring time cable change:
