Replace chain if I change cassette?
Based on feedback I think I need to change a 12/25 cassette to a 11/32 or even 34.
Is this as simple as just switching cassettes or do I need to also change the chain?
The chain is good condition, but need to alter gearing to give my daughter better range on climbs etc.
Thanks

depends on miles i guess, but may need some more links too going to a 32 or 34, assuming your rear mech can handle it.0

How would I know whether the rear mech (Ultegra) can handle it?0

*Personally* I'd always change the two at the same time anyway. Chains and cassettes mould well to each other, always best to start with a fresh couple and let the relationship develop.Follow me on Twitter - http://twitter.com/scalesjason - All posts are strictly my personal view.0
