    i agree with waylander, there is no ryhme nor reason for owning a handgun, they are only designed for shooting people (we can talk about target shooting pistols at a later date)

    a rifle is for game and target shooting, a shot gun is for the same. they can be used to kill people of course but it isnt necessarily their primary role and that is the major difference.

    this is all refering to guns in the hands of civillians of course.

        Indeed, Luckily in the UK we don't have armed and trigger happy police force.

        I mean if they were going to use a gun, a single shot to the log could have resolved that issue. Said it before horrible things.

        I fail to see why I still wouldn't want this. I already own loads of pencils. I have loads of nails too, and they can kill people, just ask Jesus! (It's alright, he got better!)

        Indeed, Luckily in the UK we don't have armed and trigger happy police force.

        I mean if they were going to use a gun, a single shot to the log could have resolved that issue. Said it before horrible things.

        a mate of mine is a royal protection officer. he has been for years and years and i don't think he's ever fired his gun on duty
