Have you even bothered to look at the site rules before blatantly advertising your event?

As most forums like this one prohibit advertising, I would have expected a professional events organiser to have at least checked this out before attempting to place this type of thread!! A very basic marketing rule and principle, surely?
  • After consulting Bike Radar before posting we were advised that it was appropriate to post on the Sportives/Audaxes/Training rides section.

Are you part of Bike radar? And have we been ill informed by the creators of this site?

No, but I also have access to these rules which clearly state that users agree not to “upload post or otherwise display any Content for any commercial or business purpose including (without limitation) any Content which contains any advertising or promotional materials”. See: http://www.futureplc.com/terms-and-conditions/

Sorry but if every event organiser flooded this section with details of their events; this forum would quickly disappear under the weight of the indirect form of marketing or advertising!
