Marin quad link bearings

Has anyone had experience with any of the after market bearing kits that frequent the likes of eBay?
I'm after a set of quad link bearings for my 2008 Marin Mount Vision, but because I'm not the original owner of the frame, my local Marin dealer wont warrant the bearing warranty.
I've been quoted nearly £100 for a set of bearings from them, excluding fitting, which is pretty extreme for 8 bearings. Willing to do the job myself if I can get hold of the bearings, but unsure if buying cheaper bearings will turn out to be a false economy

I had the same problem looking for bearings for my 2007 Mount Vision frame - there were no cheap options. It was near impossible to source the individual bearings as they were a near-unique type.
In the end I bought the proper set from BETD for £80. When I replaced them I kept hold of the old ones as some of them were still ok - and some were near 100% when they had some new grease in them.
I dont think Katec do this type, though he is indeed excellent.
Oh, just saw this set on eBay:
