Any of you guys use a GoPro Hero 3 2013 ?

Have any of you guys used these on your bike ? any thoughts on them ? I was thinking of recording a few runs on the bike for prosperity. We have used the Hero2 on some car footage in the past but I dont really get involved in that so wondered if any of you were using them often and if so, do you rate them for cycling footage.

I had looked at one of these in the UK and prices were around £250-£300 for the full kit but they are only £160 for the full kit so a real bargain.

    Decathlon do one for £79.99, although no idea how it compares spec wise to the Go Pro.

    Where are they £160 ? I'm planning on hiring one for an Alps trip.

    I don't know anyone using them for road rides routinely - 99.999% of my rides would be pretty dull and not warrant rewatching.

    I think bikeradar had a review of the latest version vs the old one. Very minimal difference I think.

    I have the GoPro Black edition. The film quality is immaculate. It looks better than I actually remember it from my POV.

    I bought it for when I first went to Majorca. Used it on evening and day time rides. It records just as good with low visibility. What really stands out is the wide angle capture, its almost as though it's at 180*.

    I have the gopro v1, it's excellent. I don't use it all the time though.

    I'm in the USA right now and the place in working at is selling them for 160 sterling so it kinda made my mind up to get one at that price. It comes with the attachment kit included too.
    If any of you wanted one if be happy to bring one back and post to you for whatever it cost here, maybe save on hiring one ?
    Anyway, I've checked a few online movies so am going for it.
