Can it be done??? I totalled my rear mech today and now find myself in need of a new 10 speed rear mech. I like my SRAM shifters however general and public opinion it that Shimano XT is a better mech so can I have the best of both worlds or do I just buy another SRAM mech?

As stated, it's not going to happen, you need to change shifter and mech or stick with SRAM.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
