I was hoping not to have to go the DA route - but, I suppose, if I were forced to go 11-speed .

I think I'm right in thinking DA Di2 is now compatible with Ultegra Di2 (certainly, the tuning tool listed for the latest DA Di2 is the Ultegra one)

yes it is all compatible, and you should be able to run those shifters at 10 speed
