Upgrade crankset worth it?

I have a a SRAM S300 crankset on my otherwise SRAM RED Black edition Look 566 and am wondering is it worth upgrading to something like a RED crank or similar?
Would I notice any difference and what would that be?
Shifting quality / speed or .....?

Had a similar situation myself with my Felt, I did upgrade but that was due to putting a Rotor crankset on my summer bike & used the old crank on my winter bike.Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0 -
