Travel reducing rockers

So, I got an alternative set of 137mm rockers with my bike, it comes with 150mm as standard. What effect will they have on the bike? Im assuming the geometry angles will all stay the same but cant quite get my head around what difference they'll make, especially since its only 13mm. Just general firming up of the back end?

Impossible to say without more info - the bike would help. Rockers work on leverage, so it depends.I don't do smileys.

well it will drop the ratio the shock moves per rear wheel
so it should feel less laboured or overworked (2:1 good - 3:1 bad)0 -
it depends on how the rockers are made.
it could do lots of different things.
