hello, i have began mountain biking and im considering buying a 2013 cube acid,
im getting a good deal as my dad is really good friends with the man that owns the local bike shop. i believe a 2013 cube acid retails at approx £800 (ish).
i have been offered the bike for £700 and i would like to know if this is a good beginner bike, basically for some light off road and single track usage.
does any one else own this bike or have any experience with this bike?
any reviews/advice would be greatly appreciated,
many thanks ,joey!!!

If it fits then it is not too bad at all. Note the fork does not have Motion Control.0

what do you mean by "motion controll"? im a noob!!lol
thnks for the reply0 -
I think your dad needs to get better mates with the shop owner. Thats less than 10% off. Id expect to be able to negotiate that if Id just run over the shop owners cat. (RRP is £769). Yes, it is a good bike though, as SS says, make sure the size is right. Motion Control is a better damper in the fork (also known as MoCo), which makes the motion, well, more controlled. Don't worry about it though, the TK damper is ok too (which is what you have in there... probably... I thought the Acid was supposed to have MoCo).A Flock of Birds
