Hi guys,
Jedi at UK Bike Skills is busy till August so looking for recommendations for any MTB coaching in the South East of England. I live in Hertfordshire and am happy to drive a bit to get there so Herts, Bucks, Surry etc ... should all be fine.
I've found Tom Dowie at Chicksands and Firecrest MTB who are based at Aston Hill.
Anyone tried any of them? or can you recommend any one else?
thanks.

Haven't been coached by either as such but Tom is currently leading rides around the Olympic MTB course at Hadleigh farm. I went on Sunday and he was very helpful with a few pointers. Incredible rider too of course!2011 Canyon XC 8.0 (Monza Race Red)

I wanted to freshen up on my skills before a summer holiday so would really like to do something soon.
Tony (UK Bike Skills) got back to me and says his junior coach Nathan may be available so might try him out. He looks very young on his photo but I'm sure he could probably ride backwards better than I can ride forward :-)0 -

Thanks for the suggestion. I took a look at their website, appears they only do group classes? I'd prefer 1 on 1 coaching. In my experience this is much better value than a group session.0 -
Check out Get mountainbiking's website. I think they do training in a few spots around the country - Not sure who does Woburn, possibly Helen Powell? Think the price is £150
MTB skills - the fantastic and renowned Clive Forth - http://www.mtbskills.co.uk/mtbskills/home.html It can also be done at Woburn.
If you can't Jedi - and it's good to know availability is summer time now - then wait or check out the 2 above.

When we were down there, Tony said he's the only other person he knows who can ride all the woodwork (I can't even walk on half of it without pooing my pants )
If he's even half as good as Tony, you're on to a winner!0 -

Richard at All Biked Up in the Surrey Hills. Top bloke, does all the stuff you see in IMB. As well as getting excellent instruction you also get some amazing riding around the hills!
