I curently use speedplay light action pedals and have brought myself some longer stainless steel axles,to stop my feet hitting the stays. I have read that i need to heat up the torx screw, that is in the end of the axle, to loosen the loctite. Anyone know the best way of doing this or is it best to let my lbs have a crack at it?
Thanks
Si

I have removed the torx screws from two sets of Speedplays without heat and no problems. Used a lighter version of loctite to re-assemble and no problems for over 4k miles.
