Hi all,
Just got a new bike which has the shock mentioned in the subject.

Anyone know if it's possible to add a remote lockout to this shock?

I've been googling around and can see other kits to add remote lockout to other rockshox shocks, but none mention if they're compatible with this model.

I'd have thought these remote lockout systems would be pretty generic ...

Any suggestions ?
Thanks.

If there is one it will be very expensive in relation the value of the forks.
    Recon might fit.
Not worth the bother IMO. Easy enough to lean forward and turn it - less clutter on the bars as well.

The link you provided has the answer, the fork has Overview, Specifications and Technologies next to it.
Click on Technologies and read the last sentence that's written about the Turnkey.

Parts and part numbers for the different parts in your fork and for parts that can be used in your fork are shown in the 2013 Rockshox Spare Parts Catalog.

    http://www.sram.com/service/rockshox/435

Copy the appropriate part numbers and put them into the search bar on Petra Cycles website.

You could probably just email them, tell them what you want to do and see if they have or can get what you want.
  • Thanks for the replies.
I'm a master of ballsing things up, so will take a view on the upside of having a remote lockup vs the potential cost and aggro.

I have a remote pop-loc and I'd rather I didn't, just to clean up the bars and reduce the cable/hose maze.

I probably use it once or twice a ride, so it isn't any hassle at all to lean forwards.

Very wise, I can remember several ocasions, when I wish I'd never started an 'upgrade'.
