Running RS10 wheels that came with a SRAM cassette installed. I''m wanting to switch to a 105 cassette with a pref. ratio.

Do I need a spacer behind the 105 cassette? If so, how big?

Instinct says I do, but wanting to double check, cheers

on a 9/10-speed compatible hub (most are this type)...

    sram - no spacer
    shimano 9-speed - no spacer
105 and most other shimano 10-speed - use a spacer (it should be in the box with the cassette), but shimano tiagra 10-speed, for instance, doesn't need a spacer
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny

You sure it's not stuck to the back of the cassette?

    One of these

But if you buy a new 10sp cassette there should be one in the box.
(105/Ultegra/DA - Tiagra doesn't need it as Sungod says)
