Are the B'Twin cheapo inner tubes any good? £2.99 for 2 sounds very cheap!

  • They've done me for both MTB and Road bike. You do have to be careful as they only offer normal variants, i.e. no long valve etc. Always good for back ups as well, as it means you don't have an expensive inner tube sitting around doing nothing.

The valve would suffice for a normal wheel though right?

    I'm sure they'll be fine.
  • Didn't buy them as their stems are too short.

    Thanks for that.

Gonna try 'go outdoors' as they've got 2 raleigh tubes for a fiver if you're a member (which I will become).
  • Btwin tubes on my cheapo hybrid were poor - low quality valve makes it difficult for track pump to 'grip' it.
One punctured near the valve. Apparently not uncommon on their tubes.
Have replaced both. These might be a different model but I still wouldn't recommend them.
