OK so I built the Mega last year with many parts recycled of my Enduro SL including the E-150 fork.

Loved the fork on the Enduro but it just didn't feel right on the Mega. After much waiting(4 months) for a 2013 Marzocchi 55CR I opted for the X-Fusion Vengeance DLR so here's MK2 8)

As the E150 uses a 25mm thru-axle hub I also has to replace the wheels so opted for SS Switch hubs and Stans Flow rims.

I also swapped the Giant Switch Dropper for a KSi900R and binned the crap(went stiff after 2 rides) Clarkes cables/outers.

Haven't ridden it in anger yet but will do so next weekend 8)

Very nice, how is the vengeance? X-fusion are looking good these days, shame there aren't many dealers. I never understood the E150 fork, didn't see the point in all that added weight just for it to be a bit stiffer...

RE the E-150..it's actually as light as a Lyrik at just under 5lbs inc axle  Very light(for a double-crown) and stiff Fork.

Really? Fair enough. I guess I'd just rather have a single crown with the stiffness designed into the lowers rather than having a dual crown, they can be a pain sometimes. I have heard they do work nicely, though my mate who has one has had to have it warrantied like three times or something daft.

Early ones(07) suffered from cartridge failure.Mine were replaced under warranty after 3 years of abuse and they gave me S-works ones instead of standard  Can't fault Specialized.
25mm axle is also lighter than a maxxle 8)
Loved the fork just didn't feel right on the Mega

Fair enough, I think the mega is better suited to a 160/170mm fork. The Vengeance looks good on there :) I still really fancy a mega...
