Garmin 810 connection loss

Went out today with hrm on and of course the cadence sensor on bike. All set up inc live tracking. Everything working as it should. I stopped off at a cafe on route and on way home no hrm or cadence shown. I was off bike for 20 mins and walked aprox 6 meters at most from bike. Do I have to re connect every time I do this? Live tracking still worked but data only shows for ride out?

    I had exactly the same problem today, I'm calling Garmin in the morning, I had to reset whilst on the go and it all came back.

    I pressed the search for sensors whilst riding but never came back on. Let me know how you get on thanks

    Reported it to Garmin and they have filed a tech report and they say I should hear in the next few days.

    Naturally they will need to release a firmware update.
