Im no stranger to XC mtb but this road stuff is new to me.
1. What tyre pressures should i have? Im 62kg on Continental gator skins 700x23
2. Should i carry a pump or CO2 cartridge incase of emergency.

62 kg???
Pump them to the highest pressure and adjust accordingly - i'm heavier and run 25 at 110, slightly less at the front.
