Problems with Kronolog.

Hi
I bought a Kronolog off a friend of mine last month and have only just got round to putting it on and using it.
I took the bike out today with it on and it is not staying up when I am sat on it, It supports itself fine but just slips down under any load.
When he sold it to me it was fine, I was out riding with him the same day I bought it and it worked spot on.
I noticed there is a cable at the rear what operates it, Is it anything to do with this? Possibly tighten it up?
Or do you think it is worth contacting Crankbrothers and seeing if they can fix it under warranty even though I dont have the box or receipt!
Thanks

Sounds entirely like a cable issue. They're very sensitive to how they're set up. Have a read of the manual (they're pretty specific in there about how the cable should be) and make sure everything is as it should be.0

Thanks
I will take a look tomorrow and hopefully get it sorted. It goes up and down fine when the trigger is pushed in but wont bloody stay up! :evil:0 -
Chances are the cable is too tight then and the locking rings don't get to fully lock the post in the up position. New cable time, probably.0
