Hi

Does anyone have any experience of these? My alu Condor Agio frame on my Winter training bike has cracked and I'm looking for a replacement frame. Preferably steel, as I'm fed up of teeth loosening alu frames.

It doesnt have mudguard eyelets which is a obvious downside for a Winter bike. The Kaffenback would be my first choice, but PX have sold out of my size. Any alternative suggestions would be welcomed.

    Hi there,
    I just finished building one up this winter. Really liking it so far but honestly haven't had it out too much yet - weather has been crap where I live. Has a very nice feel on bumpy cobbles

    Some things to be aware of:
    Italian threaded bottom bracket - not that hard to find but not the most common
    1" steer tube, again not that hard to find a headset but not the most common size these days

    There is a brazed on clamp/bracket for the front derailleur which makes it much harder to set-up in my opinion. Would be easier if wasn't there.

    I built mine with a Campagnolo Centaur group from 2004 - ten speed.

    Miche do a very good 1" threadless headset, infact it is the best 1" threadless headset out there for any money. Light and it copes with winter filth. I ride 80 miles on sunday winter or not rain, snow or shine and this headset as seen the last two winters out and is still perfect. They cost a bit over £20 too and weight about 90g.

    Hi all, brand new to this forum (any forum for that matter). I'm also keen on this frame and know very little about the company apart from whatI've read here and on this website http://www.pedalroom.com/bike/sarto-rovigo-56cm-8739. What sort of Columbus tubing is used? Also, is there a sizing chart available? Have emailed Planet X but they're not always the snappiest at responding!

    Have you considered a Genesis Equilibrium frame? Well regarded with great reviews and fully kitted out with mudguard eyelets
