does anyone know how i can tell the year of my reverb post as i bought it second hand!

    A more helpful answer would be the collar colour, a black collar is 2012, a silver collar is 2011 or earlier.
    My biggest fear is that should I crash, burn and die, my Wife would sell my stuff based upon what I told her I paid for it.

    When I asked bikediscount the very same question (collar colour) they stated that 2012 came in both. One OEM one not.
    I'm sure the most obvious one is to check the hose joint at the post. Plastic its pre 2012, metal, its 2012 on AFAIK.
    Mine was silver collar and metal barbed 2012 model.
