Hi guys, thinking of upgrading my 9 speed Daytona to 11 sp Athena triple and wondered if anyone knew the Q factor?
Very happy with Q factor n Chorus 11 speed, but would prefer triple to a compact and want to know how much wider is it. All knowledge gratefully received!
Thanks
Phil

AFAIK they're pretty similar - the q-factor between the ends of the cranks is due to the need to clear the chainstays
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    Hi,
Just measure my Athena triple and make it 140mm as measured from outside edge of cranks. Hope
    this helps.
    Cheers

Thank you senrab, that's roughly the same as my Chorus 11. Press release I just read said it was 2mm wider so yor comment confirms that. It's much better than my old Racing Triple at 160mill. Going to order one. In fact perhaps I will also replace the Chorus 11?
    Cheers
