I'm needing to invest in bike store (apparently the bedroom is not the place for a roadbike; why?) So has anyone had experience of the Trimetal bike sheds or Asgard bike sheds?

Or any other solutions?

  • Could look at an indoor hanger as another option.

My bike is in the corner of our hallway out of the way.
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

Do you have enough room for a proper shed? It's a bit more handy if you need to do some work.

Whatever external storage solution you end up with ensure you fit a ground anchor and invest in some quality (sold secure) chains/locks to shackle it down.

Bike now squeezed into current wooden shed. Window need frosting, but bonus as tight behind a wall so unless looking hard it can't be seen. I must buy a hook now as the bike is vertical against wall with four bits of string through the front wheel holding it up - safe, but dodgy!!!

I have had the trimetals one since it first came about (around 4 years ago), I am very happy with it and although the price seems to have gone up I would still recommend it. The main difference to the Asgard one is that the trimetals doesn't need clearance in front to open, ie no swinging doors, handy if you will be placing it in a tight spot.
