    You burn calories just be being alive so it will count up even if youre sitting still. I think if you have power and HR measurements then you can start to get something at least ballpark realistic, but it's still a bit of a guess...

    At least on my 705 you don't though. It makes no difference if you have HR and power, it ignores it and gives a stupidly inflated number. The newer ones give more plausible answers for sure.
  • Id take it with a pinch of salt and just use the number as motivation to do more, or eat more bacon

    Endomondo told me I burnt 875 calories on a 1hr 18m, 15k ride. That means the bottle and a half of red I had that evening was essentially free, and I will not let facts or research dispute that.
