Hi Guys

I'm sure most of you know how much skill, confidence, techniques, power, fun, air time and smiles you can get from riding a bmx track. Look at Danny Hart and Chris Hoy, they started out in bmx.

Well one of the best tracks in the world is in the centre of the country and we'd love to see more mtb riders coming along. It's the legacy track of the 2012 UCI World BMX Championships built by clark and kent who also built the worlds track and the olympic bmx track.

We've also built a mini pump track, balance bike track for toddlers and some training trails, as well as having an Olympic level pro section we can cater for all abilities.

We offer open practice sessions, coaching sessions, birthday parties, private hire, race days, school groups, youth groups, work experience, track building days.

We are hosting two National Rounds and the British Championships this year too.

During our club races we offer a mtb class too.

Me personally I've just jumped back onto my mtb and I'm loving it so much on the bmx track!!!

I used to ride the old track many moons ago. How much is it to turn up and have a go? Or is it open at all times like the old days?
  • Hiya, it's £3 members, £5 guests, well cheap. Fully fenced in international standard bmx race track ready for mtb shredding

  • Are you not worried about MTBs ripping up the turns?

Our local BMX tracks go apeshit if they catch MTB tyres on their track, rightly so too because they've been getting absolutely battered.
  • Mtb make no worse a mess than bmx. It's all about how you maintain your track and continually resurface. We are always levelling our track and re compacting it. Ours is a fenced in track, what damages tracks more is skidding and stopping / standing on the track surface, both of which we don't allow in our track rules.

Mountain bikes are more than welcome to the birmingham bmx track, I ride mine on there and I'm the manager ;)
