Why would my brakes squeal when the arent being used?
A good pull on the lever stops it for a while but it comes back very quickly
It kind of pulses, it isnt a constant sound.
I looked at the pads and one seems to be on the tilt, the part of one of the pads closest to the hub is alittle further out that the top of the pad

If the rotor runs true, then is caliper alignment.0

I've had this problem occasionally in the past - it seems to start after splashing through muddy puddles, and I assume a bit of grit or sand gets lodged between pad and rotor - giving them a squirt from a water bottle normally sorts it out.
That said, with mine, when it's happened it's always been a constant sound, almost like running a finger round the edge of a glass - I'm guessing if it's pulsing then perhaps the rotor is out of true slightly?0
