Jekyll vs Trigger

Hey,
So I am in the market for a new bike, and ignoring all other competitors which im sure I would be told at some point to get instead... I am currently looking at the Cannondale range, specifically the Jekyll and Trigger.
My riding intentions will be for multi day epics, or just epics in generally, so not just trail centres.
So in your opinions, which would be best suited for this?
Cheers

Those are the two models i have looked at - ignoring the £500 difference for now.0 -
At those prices any dealer should allow you to test ride. The Trigger is a lot, lot more racier though with steeper angles, less travel. The Jekyll seems like too much bike.0

Yeah I havent got in touch with any dealers yet, but im kinda assuming they will let me test ride.
That was my summary as well, i like the Jekyll but does seem a lot of bike!0 -
It depends, I suppose. If you are an aggressive rider and plan to go off big drops and be hard on your bike, the Jekyll is probably a better bet. But if your doing epics with multiple thousand foot climbs and fun but not ridiculous descents, then the Trigger will be more efficient. For that money your dealer should let you have a test ride though!“Don’t buy upgrades, ride up grades.”

Specialized S-Works Enduro 29
Santa Cruz Blur TRc
Santa Cruz Tallboy

Cheers both!
Think will have to organise a test ride of the trigger then as that definitly sounds more like my riding style0 -

I have a Custom build Carbon Jekyll, and it is the perfect bike for a mixture of AM and XC riding, it really is two bikes in one. When the rear shock is in 90mm elevate mode its very efficient on the climbs, the bottom bracket is lifted and it pedals like a short travel XC race bike. When its switched to the 150mm mode you can feel the rear end sink into its sag and it transforms into a plush slack low shredder.
I have yet to ride a Trigger, but i doubt it will have such a defined split personality that the Jekyll benefits from.0
