Bottom Bracket Balls Up

If you fit a bottom bracket of the Shimano press fit variety to a frame with an 89.5mm shell without fitting the spacer, will it still be OK? The spacer goes on the drive side and is 2.5mm.

Next time I won't take what I read of the internet as red and shall measure the flippin thing myself first!

    what frame?

    unlikely you will be able to preload the bearings as the BB will be too narrow.

    As above, the non drive side crank will not go far enough on the splines.
