disc brake clamps for early suspension forks judy etc

anyone known anything about these and who made them early hope design perhaps allowed you to attach adapter clamps to fit discs

Do you mean a bolt on mount to fit discs to non disc forks?
Not something I'd entertain personally, and you'll have to go back a bloody long way, Judy's had IS mounts in 1998!

I wouldn't do it either, older forks just not designed for disc brake stresses.0

Hope used to do an adaptor that mounted to the axle and then had a reaction rod that went to the fork leg, but you need the whole setup of hub, mounting, caliper to fit it....I've seen it on an old Trek Y-framed FSer.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
