Morning Losers!
Lent is upon us. Repent of your sins!!!
Think I'll do what I did last year and give up bad foods. Managed to lose about a stone in all, which I have gradually put back on. It should help the CC2CC though, so that's motivation.
Nothing much going on at the moment. I need to ring the letting agent in Hudd, as I saw on Zoopla the house I want now says it's Let. Hopefully to me, but they haven't told me!!
Anywho, onwards!
Laters!

Midweek Mellowness Maggots,
Busy one today, two site visits and a ton of other shyte to attend to
A forecast high of 27ºC today, so the "Mexican Aircon"** may just suffice
Wishing you all a day as productive as mine will not be

Morning feckwits,
Tired today after a good nights sleep, Good fettle last night, brake pads changed on all bikes as if you add them all together wouldnt of made one decent pad  Bloody mud its killing my bikes.
Off to the wrong side of london today for a afternoon meeting, which is a right royal pain the backside, but if i get back in time, its night ride night.
Onwards to coffee and traffic0 -
Mornin' self-abusers
Should be a quiet day in work today - the calm before tomorrows storm of sparks and fire (I'll have visitors in that will want a lot of stuff done). Oh, I have vistors, but that shouldn't take much to deal with.
Meanwhile, I am awaiting the delivery of a contract for a new job, elsewhere. I'd like to think it'd put the cat amongst the pigeons, but in reality, it'll just lead to lot of embarrressing platitudes and awkward silences (the best kind!).
Onwards! To caffiene! And peace and serenityHow would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

Was thinking the same idea myself. I has been suggested I also give up alcohol for the duration but that is just a downright stupid suggestion.
The day had started quite well but then I got into work. The boss man is in a foul mood going off on one at everyone and anyone. Think I might have to find a job out of the building today.
Time to sneak in a quick mug of tea whilst he is not looking.
Later......0 -

I am going to try to give up cookies for lent but i dont hold out much hope, i have asked the wife to try to give up wine as par for the course whilst we are going to the gym, there is more chance of platting the preverbial.

Well its been a day on the rumor mill.
Had all sorts of phone calls from opposite numbers because they have heard were all being axed.
The one person i havent heard from is my boss.
He is probably waiting for Jeremy Kyle to finish on the box before he looks at his emails?0 -
VWSurfBum,
Not good, I hope it all works out for you..
Did my morning meeting and returned to find my lunch, which sits in my laptop bag, overrun with ants, millions of the feckers.
The box was a little full and the lid handn't sealed properly.. fail..
Our minion, Kuraisha donated her lunch to me, which was win, as it was soya polony with mofo hot chili sauce, my kind of lunch.. Win!0 -
surely ants just mean extra meat? Well it does in Tesco's anyway0

Bored in work. Pancakes were ok last night. Thinking of cake for dinner tonight. Appear to have caught the office cold just in time for a weekend in the Lake District training for running the Three Peaks in May, depending on whether my recently healed broken foot decides to hold up to the assault of trail running or not. Good news is tomorrow is my Friday!Sarcasm: Because punching someone in the face is illegal.0

Evening people,
Today is my friday, but its a weekend from hell with the ex visiting, wish i could just grow enough of a pair to say to her feck off and just leave me alone!!
Other wise more free lunch being consumed at work.0 -
Evening scuttlers
All this talk of tommorrow being the last day of the week has reminded me tommorrow is teh last day of my week too, although it seems Arriva have taken it upon themselves to cram my friday off into thursday to make up for it.
Usual formula applies, work now then gym then home and have a walk.
The house were renting is up for sale so the place is crawling with estate agents, which has 3 benefits, manchild and toots (mrs G's sister) are actually doing a bit of housework, manchild replacement is staying the fark away and thirdly, should a sale be made, I shall be looking to make an early escape from our tenancy if it suits.
I've seen a house I very much want, its available for sale or rent, which means I may be tempted to get Chez Gazlar back in wolves on the market and buy.
Anyway, enough tittle tattle, if the good lord spares us and the creeks dont rise I'll see you later0 -
gaz please come scare off my ex... i can not bebothered spending the entire weekend with her. i have nothing I want to do0

I know it's late in the day and almost tomorrow. But today has been another long day at the office. I am starting to enjoy the job a bit more but had some good news today. An offer of an interview for another job, only marginally more pay probably offset by any commute and petrol prices but with better prospects. Though it might mean I can finally leave home, there has been talk of sharing with some mates who all live much nearer the location of said new job.
Would love this job and so please I got this far but I'm so shit at interviews so am absolutely bricking it, just hoping the year in work I've had since my last interview has given me a bit of confidence, and hope that shows when I do interview.0 -
Evenin' tards,
Got up at silly o'clock and pedalled into Central London from Kent. Then ended up so knackered after work I took the train home  Will ride home tomorrow instead. I'm utterly farked so I'm off to bed."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0
