I could eat a scabby horse between two pi55ed matresses.....for the epicure.
  • doesn't bother me tbh... horse obviously tastes nice, otherwise someone would have said something already.

    And I'm not dead.

Actually the horse had QUITE A LOT to say about it - albeit briefly.

    And it is dead.

  • From what I can gather, we're one of the only countries in the world that thinks it' weird to eat horses. I like that even though we're in the minority, we still have that imperial view: We're right, you're wrong!

I'd eat horse burgers if they're a decent price.
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

  • If there were any logic in what we eat, then horse meat would be far more popular than beef. Its leaner, has more iron, more omega 3, less fat. And currently it’s about a tenth the price.

Of course they can. Have you BEEN to france?
I mean, sure, the Alps are as cool as fukc, but most French "people" (and I use the term loosely) choose not to live in them.
They, as a nation, do make awesome kebabs though.

I was being sarcastic, but there wasn't a suitable smiley for it. And yep, I've been the France dozens of times (mainly to the Alps): great country, spoilt only by the inhabitants.

But I'd be interested where the good kebabs are for future reference :)

Check out the kebabs though, seriously. I've had them in Moutier, Mottaret, Les Gets, and Morzine, they're epic. Like big chunks of deli meats, in soft white bread.

Must sort out next skiing holiday...though I did manage to get 'cheese sweats' from eating what felt like a kilo of raclette in one sitting last time I was out in Mottaret.

I'm not a big lover of cheese, and sadly neither was my ex girlfriend. I really should sort out my personal hygiene one day.

Been trying to book a couple of chalets for next season, but all the prices have shot up :? We seem to be looking at around a £125 price increase per person or so, which is going to totally screw the families

    Thank fark for that!

I feared we'd lost it forever.

And yes, I did fall for it.

Bummer, might be demand is up because they got so much snow at the start of the season? Luckily I don't take the family skiing, it's friends only :P

At first i thought not having that, but my mate said we have to give it a go for a laugh it was actually ok didnt ask what it was and with there english and my poor french didnt worry about the translation, the chicken wings were ok too, well they tasted like chicken!!

I eat a Tesco ready meal and it gave me the trotts so I galloped down to the store and asked for a refund, the assistant said I should write a letter of complaint to the equestrian department. It was then that I noticed the assistant was very attractive, so I asked her for a date, she replied "I'm already in a stable relationship". I said "yeah, I guess I fell at the first hurdle". I felt like a right canter.
