Got this through from ITP Events
New for 2013 is the National Forest and Beyond sportive. Based at the newly built Pirelli Stadium, home of Burton Albion FC, the routes take in the quiet lanes of the west side of the National Forest and beyond to east Staffordshire.
Choose from 94, 76 and 58 mile routes, with over 5000ft of climbing on the long route. The routes are varied over rolling terrain, with a couple of sharp 13% climbs thrown in make sure you know where your gears are. View the routes below.
The long route has two feedstations, at 30 and 74 miles, the other routes have one. Riders will receive the usual sports gels and bars at the start, the feedstations will be stocked with water, sports drink and a variety of sweet and savoury food.
Once arriving back at Burton Albion FC there are good shower and changing facilities. Soup, sandwiches and tea and coffee are included in the entry fee. The bar will also be open (definitely not included in the entry fee!)
Links for the routes:
Long Route
Medium Route
Short Route
I know these roads pretty well and to be honest I think any of the routes will be a challenge (plus I think I'd use a route I know to get to Ashbourne, bit nicer, bit quieter)

Anyone else heard of / interested in this?
