shimano e thru axle on a 2012 Stumpjumper FSR

Hi guys

I have a Stumpy with a 142x12mm rear axle I want to use a Shimano axle instead of the DT Swiss one I have got, currently my axle screws into the frame but the Shimano one has a nut on the end, does anyone know if the Shimano axle will fit my frame
