Shed Alarm

Can any recommend a decent shed alarm?

I appreciate it's more important to have ground anchors, good chains etc. I also understand that it would more than likely be broken or disarmed fairly quickly, but I just want to make breaking into my shed as uncomfortable as possible for the scrote who recently nicked my bike and is bound to come back in a few months time.

I don't want a gun cartridge poacher scarer, to electrify the handle, to buy a nasty dog or my wife to sleep in there and the bikes in the bedroom (although that is tempting) I just want a good quality shed alarm. Maybe one that can be hooked up to mains electricity to avoid the batteries having run out the day they happen to come stealing.

Any recommendations?

Ta.

If it has been had in the shed once then they know the replacement will more than likely be in there.

    Put it in the house.
  • yeah I know, but I just can't fit both bikes in the house.

I'm hoping it was just an opportunist last time (they did't take my road bike) who will be deterred by my new shed shackle, hardened steel chain and maybe an alarm blaring out.

If they've nicked it from there before they'll nick it again, alarm or not.
