I watched this on my nexus yesterday and imagined how nice it must be to ride in places like this.

I had to stop it after about 30 seconds, the noises from the bike hurt my ears. Way to much clicking. But yes, considering my riding plans have today be scuppered by snow, it would be lovely to ride in that weather.

You missed the best bits though. The guy is flying along! I wonder what camera he was using?
  • would be nice to be able to fly down hills without worrying about the 1 foot deep pot holes.

He's using some kind of GoPro and it's rattling around in the case which is making the annoying noise.

Thats a great clip, very good.

  • bet it would seem odd for a brit descending on the right - it somehow feels safer on the left - nice find.

If you've not seen it before check out cancellara's awesome descending skills - he's in the maillot jeune and had to stop for a wheel change - now he has to catch up to the peloton.

  • The only possible KOM I see here is the guy on a MTB actually climbing it

  • The grade and distance is very similar to this one local to me

    http://app.strava.com/segments/1424139

But top speed is about 5kmh slower. Must be fear of sheep and the strategically placed manhole covers on bends. Having said that, on a really nice day down the Snake you could almost be in Boulder, Colorado. Perhaps not today though

Don't think it's a GoPro, as they are higher quality than this - his video has that sickening wavy effect from vibration which I don't think GoPros have.

    Prepares to be corrected...

Well most people on Strava who climb probably don't actually climb mountains. So it's a meaningless abbreviation to them also. How about you don't take it so seriously?
  • Pointless boring video. KOMS downhill, KOMS for fatties.... gives them a chance of some social media glory.

You're entitled to your opinion. Plenty of others enjoy the vid.

WTF - someone asked what the abbreviation was, I gave THE answer :?:

I am not taking anything like anything - it's not my fault that I gave an answer you do not want. It is THE answer no more no less.

Bought anything from Ribble lately :?:

I already knew the answer. It is the answer I know and want. You have given me nothing.
