    Hello and welcome.

Stop plodding, it's miles better to not plod.

    Don't bring on ploddergeddon.....

Don't plod, more fun going fast and falling off - often (and yes I'm a forty something)

Personally, I think falling off is overrated... it hurts and it can be expensive. But definitely go fast enough to make yourself just that bit nervous - following someone who is just that bit better than you is well worth it.

  • Welcome & enjoy the banter :P
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

It does and it can be, but until you fall off, you don't know where your limit is, so you'll always be playing it too safe, cracked ribs only hurt when you laugh, riding is still possible!

I'm now also learning to bounce better!
