Hey everyone,

Needed to get a new 'cheap' hard tail as mine has given up in so many ways.

Went to evans cycles for a look around and I have ordered a 2013 Norco Storm 6.1 for a test ride (so not bought yet)

Does anyone have any experience with these? Or maybe some things to look out for?

Seems like a lovely bike: http://www.evanscycles.com/products/nor ... e-ec041235

Thanks in advance for any opinions

But nasty fork (undamped I think), basic brakes, 8 speed (not that that's really a bad thing, just a bit dated), slightly off chainring sizes, and a bit lardy.
Hve a look at the sticky in Buying Advice.

Thanks for the reply, just been and had a look at the sticky... Think a trip to halfords might be in order lol.

I'll still try the Norco and see but I'll try the voodoo first.

The Norco is up at £350

Took your advice/the advice in the sticky and got myself a Voodoo Bantu

Hope it's a bit drier your way than it is here.
