Easton Haven Rear Maxle Overtightened?

So I have an Easton Haven wheelset, and recently when I tighten the rear maxle the wheel becomes very stiff and won't spin. I've tried loosening the axle to the point where its barely finger tight and the wheel will still barely spin. It seems to be overtightening the hub, but can't see how to fix it. Any ideas? Stu

    strip the hub and see what is wrong?

    but first strip the disc and the cassette of and now see what happens without those fitted.
