Hey all new to site, and need some advice

Hi there im new to the forum i live in the sunny south east (flat) and want to get into either AM or DH. i know im going to have to travel to find the more suitable terrain, im tempted by the specialised AM enduro evo or the status 1 or 2 any advise much appreciated.
