    Anywhere?
I think the Tri Centre(?) in Edinburgh does it and I've used Dales in Glasgow.
They do the Specialized BG fit service.
Quite dear but a good bunch in there and I was happy enough with it.
  • Also looked into it.. dales, the tri centre..and dooley's in paisley. :)

  • First post! but not associated in any other way than as happy customer. Worth having a look at Hooked On in Bathgate. They've just got a new section of their store dedicated to this with a Watt bike. Haven't seen it yet but hope to pop in this weekend.

Tri centre in Edinburgh are top notch. Ronde also have a fitting rig, they are good lads too.

    Dooleys don't do it.
I'm off to Velocity 44 in Stirling this morning for a Retul bike fit.

Sandy Wallace in Inverkeithing is another option

  • Spokes in Kirkaldy offer an extensive bike fit. Lots of good reports post fit. It's a lengthy one though (unlike Tri Centre which is about half an hour) and it costs £120 a pop http://www.spokescycles.net/product/976 ... it_Service

They're about to start a website specifically for the fit called www.bikefitscotland.co.uk

A very good session today... 3.5hrs to sort out my TT bike and road bike - excellent value / fun etc... and highly recommended! :)

TT saddle was dropped 15mm, moved rear back by 5mm, extensions moved rearward... outcome below.

Interestingly, by road saddle moved back by 40mm, dropped by 15mm...

it was mainly done on my TT bike, and It was an extra £30 for the second bike. (my Felt road bike.)
There were prob 8 runs in done on the turbo with some load on (about 200w) to get baseline positions (left & right side) using the motion capture dots & camera, then fine tuning the position with motion capture / angle / position analysis at each alteration to see the effect.
Time consuming, but very interesting.... It will take a while to adjust but it is quite a different biomechanical position than i thought i was in - but it makes sense...

each change was incremental to try and bring lower body into 'parameter' and one could see the effect on foot angle / back angle / leg extension/ hip movement. Etc

Some of the info that one looks at in real time... & the output one gets at the end...

Ended up going to hooked-on in bathgate. Best £50 ive spent. . Was getting knee pain before fit and not getting any now. Turns out my saddle was too low and too far forward and my cleats were in the wrong position. After fit im a lot comfier on bike and my average mph went up.. :)

Garth Kruger of Vankru bikes does fitting in Banchory every now and then when he's in town. He is very good does the Retul fit. Contact him at Vankru bikes site to check if he's coming north again soon.
