Hi, I am new to mountain biking and hope someone here with experience can give me some advice.
I am getting a bike through my employers cycle to work scheme. I have 2 bikes in mind but do not know which one to go for.
The 2 are,
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165499
or
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=81009
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Alan

How is the scheme run? By the company or outsourced, if it's outsourced you can only get a Halfords bike on the Halfords scheme.....likewise CRC use only their own scheme unless you company is operating it directly themselves.
Be sure you know how they treat you after the 12 months lease is up as well.....in advance!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Scheme is run by the Northern Ireland Civil Service, Halfords do take part, after the scheme you get the option to keep the bike by paying a small fee, for me it will be around £50, you do not pay tax or national insurance on your monthly repayments meaning the savings over the year amount to around £320.0

So £270 saving after paying the £50..... Do CRC take part in that scheme?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
